The Pie cherries are excellent for baking in scones, muffins, etc or for that person that likes a nice sour cherry to snack on! The traditional flathead cherries are very versatile and probably the largest in size. The Stargold cherries are like plump golden raisins - honestly I think they are best dehydrated compared to fresh. We like to rehydrate with apple cider at Thanksgiving and add to our stuffing for a fun from the orchard treat.
